Pearl OS uses a Main Menu in the style of the Windows Vista OS. The overall design steps away from the OS X look and feel when you open the menus. For that matter, it is very similar to Linux distros that run the Docky application launcher at the bottom of the screen.

PCSX-R for PlayStation, Kega Fusion for Sega CD, VirtualJaguar for Atari Jaguar, and of course Dolphin for Gamecube / Wii - these all work perfectly for me and I'd even say these are the best examples of a system being emulated on Mac OS X. Though I strongly recommend paying to register it (to get rid of the 5 minute time limit you have every time you start a game), I will not say it is hard to find a key file with a single Google search.

The organisation with box art is awesome, as is the entire user interface, and it connects with a PS3 controller with no problems. Like the top comment says - OpenEmu ( GitHub / Twitter) is a beautiful choice for older "retro" consoles.
